Oddly enough, this video gives me some memories of my own shiny snivy hunt, I started my hunt a year and a half ago and the hunt took me over 480 hours which was made even worse due to an azurill hunt in xy I was working which was nearly taking just as long. During the several painful months I spent on the snivy hunt, I watched this video a lot so I would be a little bit more motivated to finish the hint and now that it’s been over a year since I finished the hunt, this video brings back some of those memories to me now.

Just watched this video, loaded up my Platinum and SR about 13 times and i got shiny Giratina! Bred ralts with timid and synchronize and got timid on him good moveset for special attacks so stoked!

I don't understand. If the odds are 1 in 8k or something, how have I been trying to get a shiny Treecko for over 16k? 😢

One question. Does hard resseting disturbs the chain of RAs so its more difficult to find a shiny?

I just started hunt cranidos, right now im at 2148 hope I get it within this week or sometime next week

on top of the rng being messed up in this game ( with most hunts going WAY over odds) the fact that this is a ralts, which only has a 2% chance of spawning in the first route, almost as rare as a star shiny in sword and shield, congrats my guy!

sup! i have a goal and some questions came up that were a little outside the context of the video. i hope you can give me some light i'm doing a shiny hunt on a ponyta by eggs in emerald so far ok, right? the broken rng shouldn't give any problem for now, right? due to the "problem" of having to enter the boxes every 5 hatched ponytas, i thought of a possible solution that would probably work... except ~maybe~ on emerald: 1. i put ponyta + ditto to mate, before the egg is ready i save it. 2. i walk until the 5 ponytas hatch and do a soft reset. because we're talking about emerald, could i possibly be seeing similar frames if the hunt takes a long time because the seed doesn't change? or nothing to do with?

I think bait is not viable, because it has a huge chance of fleeing even with bait, I think throwing balls is the best option

Today i've been the luckiest man on earth, found shiny feebas in 31 tries. Took me a good hour to find the right tile but only 30 min to find shiny feebas :)

I cant cope that u have to use a safari ball instead regular pokeball. I dont get people who use any other ball besodes the original ones.

If you reset the pokemon ranger save game utilizing backup software like TWLSaveTool you can redeem as many eggs as you want.

I figured id lay out the worst shiny experience for me. So late one night was in my car just having a general look around in the crimson mirelands on pokemon legends arceus. I hear the shiny sound i look its a shiny alpha Ursaring in all its green majesty. I catch it sneaking up with the first gigaton ball. Bam! Caught it with so much excitment to name it. Perfect timing too cause i recently lost my siberian husky Taz in real life and always called him a bear. As you would think was happy named the big boy Taz....Welp before i could even think of saving i get an error code. Had to restart and look in the same spot but never showed up again 😅😔

I’ll often hunt while watching your videos. I’m also keen on real world fishing so it was really cool to learn that you’re a fellow fisherman too.
